Firm secures Second Circuit affirmance dismissing copyright claims against multi-platinum recording artist

In an action against an A-list performer and other parties filed in the federal court for the Southern District of New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the District Court's dismissal of plaintiff's copyright infringement case.

Jonathan D. Davis, P.C. obtained the dismissal on behalf of its multi-platinum client, successfully arguing that the song at issue was not substantially similar to plaintiff's works.
