Firm wins dismissal of claims alleged by an ex-manager against record label for A-list country singer

Plaintiff filed a lawsuit in the federal court for the Southern District of New York claiming that our clients tortiously interfered with a management agreement between plaintiff and Taylor Swift. He also claimed that our clients were unjustly enriched from the plaintiff's labors. In response to the amended complaint, Jonathan D. Davis, P.C., filed a motion challenging the legal sufficiency of plaintiff's claims. After hearing oral argument, the Court granted the motion to dismiss and found that plaintiff failed to state any claim against our clients. The prompt conclusion to plaintiff's lawsuit allowed our clients to focus their energies where they belonged: on making great music.
