Firm obtains dismissal of employment discrimination lawsuit against cable content provider

Jonathan D. Davis, P.C. obtained dismissal of plaintiff's hostile work environment and retaliation complaint against a cable content provider under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which was filed in the federal court for the Eastern District of New York. Plaintiff claimed she was treated differently than other women employees and that her supervisor made three comments that plaintiff labeled as inappropriate.

The Court found that plaintiff failed to state a claim and dismissed the lawsuit without requiring our client to answer the complaint.
