Firm wins dismissal of invasion of privacy claims against A-list celebrity involving magazine photographs

Representing a music industry powerhouse, Jonathan D. Davis, P.C. secured dismissal of multiple invasion of privacy claims brought in the New York Supreme Court by a woman who was photographed topless at an annual party hosted by our client in the Hamptons.

The Court found that the photograph, which was published in Vibe magazine, fell within the "newsworthiness exception" and did not violate any right of privacy because "Sean Combs and his renowned annual White Party are subjects of tremendous public interest."

The Court's decision is available here.
